Pending requests on a Trusted Share

1. Pending Requests

Pending requests appear for shares where you are the owner of that Trusted Share. These requests may include:

Approving a download request
Accepting a new recipient
Extending a Trusted Share

You can manage pending requests in two ways:

By accessing them directly within a specific Trusted Share.
By navigating to Pending Requests in the sidebar.

To accept a pending request from within a Trusted Share, go to My Shares from the sidebar. Any Trusted Share with a pending request is marked with a small orange circle. Identify and select that share and open it in a new tab.

2. Click Where Action Is Required

Inside the Trusted Share, orange indicators appear next to sections requiring action. In this example, click Manage Recipients.

3. Navigate to Pending Requests

In the Recipients tab, open Pending Requests. You can review recipient, requested recipient, expiration, and actions.

4. Approve, Reject, or Ignore

From the actions menu, choose:

Accept – Adds the new recipient.
Reject – Does not add the recipient.
Ignore – Dismisses the request and removes the orange indicator.

Use Details to view initiated by, date initiated, and requested recipient email.

5. Alternate Way to See All Pending Requests

Click Pending Requests in the side menu to view all requests across all shares in one place.

6. Pending Requests List

This view shows all pending requests, request details, share name, and requested time/date. You can also filter by request type, requested time, and share type.

7. Take Necessary Action

Use the action menu to accept, reject, or ignore pending requests. Once accepted, the new recipient gets access to all files/folders in the Trusted Share.

8. Updated Recipients List

After accepting, the new recipient appears in the Trusted Share recipient list and has access to all shared files and folders.
