Extend Access for a Recipient on a Trusted Share
As the owner or co-owner of a Trusted Share, you can extend a recipient’s access if the share is nearing expiry or has already expired. By default, when a Trusted Share is created, the expiry date is set by your organization. After this date, recipients can no longer access shared files. Navigate to My Shares and open the Trusted Share and click Manage Recipients to view all current recipients.

2. Click the Actions Menu for a Recipient
Under All Recipients, click the three-dot Actions menu beside the recipient name and Select Extend from the action menu.

3. Select Extension Duration
In the Extend window, choose duration from the dropdown. By default, options include one day, one week, and one month.

4. Click Advanced for Custom Options
To set a custom extension date/time, click Advanced and choose a custom date and time from the calendar, then click Extend.

5. Extension Confirmation
A confirmation message appears in the bottom-left corner. In All Recipients, the recipient shows as active with the updated future expiration date.
