Manage Notifications on a Trusted Share

If you are the owner of a Trusted Share, you can control notifications for that share.

Use case: If you own a Trusted Share and want to stop email notifications for the owner and all the recipients on the share whenever someone uploads or downloads a file, you can configure this from your Trusted Share options.

1. Open Your Trusted Share Options

Under the My Shares section, select your Trusted Share and click Options.

2. Check or Uncheck Notification Options Under Collaboration

After clicking Options, an options window opens. Under the Applied Policy tab, go to the Collaboration section and scroll down to find: Activity Notifications, Request Notifications, and Message Notifications. The available notification categories include:

Activities: Sends notifications when users perform activities such as accessing a share, uploading files, or downloading files.
Requests & Actions: Sends notifications to owners when approval requests are submitted or when an action is required on a Trusted Share.
Messages: Sends notifications when users receive new messages or participate in secure conversations within a Trusted Share.

Checking a box enables that notification type for the Trusted Share. Unchecking a box disables that notification type for all recipients on the Trusted Share. Make the desired changes and click Save.
