To View and Open Documents on a Trusted Share

You can view, open, and edit Microsoft documents directly within the Trusted Share environment. Recipients do not need any Microsoft license, providing a seamless experience. To get started, select the appropriate Trusted Share from the list and open it.

2. Open the Document

Click the document to open it. Trusted Shares support editing for Word, Excel, and Presentation files.

Note: You can open/edit files only if the creator granted permission.

3. Click the Edit Button

Once open, click Edit to enable editing mode. Note: Edit is visible only when edit permission is granted.

4. Edit the File

Click where needed in the file and make the required changes. Note that the changes you made will be visible to all the recipients on the Trusted share.

5. Close the Auto-Saved File

After editing, close the file using the X at top-right.

Note: Changes are auto-saved; no manual save needed.

6. Download File to Local Storage

Click the file’s Action Menu to access download.

Note: Download/view depends on permissions granted by the creator.

7. Download the File

Click Download to save the file locally. If Download with Approval is enabled, the creator must approve first.
