eSHARE has rolled out a stricter browser security policy to help defend against a new generation of AI-driven attack techniques. This is a behind-the-scenes hardening change: it does not affect your permissions, your sharing rules, or the way you use the platform. No action is required on your part. What's Changing
AI-driven tools have made it faster and easier for attackers to generate malicious scripts and probe applications for weaknesses. In response, every page eSHARE serves now carries a tighter set of rules governing what the browser is allowed to load and run. This closes off techniques commonly used to turn an injected script, AI-generated or otherwise, into something that executes in your browser.
What to Expect
For most customers, this will be invisible. In rare cases, a browser extension or cached page might cause a feature to appear unresponsive (a blank preview, a widget that doesn't load) rather than showing an error. If you notice this, a page refresh usually resolves it.
