Set Login for Recipients on a Trusted Share
Enabling Mandatory Login for Trusted Shares
As the owner or co-owner of a Trusted Share, you can require recipients to log in before accessing shared content. This enables two-factor authentication (2FA), adding an extra layer of security and ensuring safer access to shared files. To enable this option, navigate to My Shares and open your Trusted Share. Click the Options button in the toolbar.
Note: You can make the changes below only if permitted by your organization’s policy.

2. Enable Require Login
Under Applied Policy → Authentication, enable Require Login. This ensures recipients log in using the email address associated with the share before accessing shared content.

3. Save Changes
After enabling, click Save to apply changes.
