eShare 172 Release Notes

This document describes the features, enhancements, and bug fixes included in eShare Release 172.

File Upload and Download Performance Improvement: eShare now dynamically adjusts how files are uploaded and downloaded based on their size in order to maximize throughput independent of file size. Given that shares are increasingly being used to satisfy large file transfer use cases, further improvements can be expected with each new release.
Auditing Page Performance Improvement: We have improved the performance of user queries via filtering. One means for achieving these improvements was to change the default query range from 30 days to 7 days.

Users Created with "Unknown Name": In rare cases a newly created internal user would have "Unknown Name" as their friendly name within the database. This issue has been corrected.
Auditing Filter Date Range Error: When a future time for the current date was selected for the date range filter, the 'Something went wrong, please contact support team.' error would appear. This issue has been corrected.
