ENHANCEMENTS
Email Notification with Full Conversation History and Reply
Internal users can now receive notifications for new Trusted Share messages or replies that include the entire secure conversation history. A new Device Policy setting “Full secure conversation notification” within the Admin Console allows eShare admins to enable this notification, which is only sent to internal users. This enhancement allows users to see the full context of the new message/reply without having to access the Trusted Share directly.
Additionally, the email notification can be configured to include a reply capability directly from within the notification. A new Device Policy setting “New reply with adaptive card notification” allows eShare admins to enable this embedded reply capability, which is implemented using Adaptive Card technology. This enhancement allows internal users to reply to a message without having to access the Trusted Share directly.
Combined, these enhancements allow internal users to see and respond to messages from Trusted Share participants directly from their email client, streamlining communication and improving user engagement with message threads.
Help Link for External Users
We now allow admins to configure a Help link for external (i.e. guest) users that is optionally different from the Help link available to internal users. A new entry “Help page URL for guest users” can be found within the Admin Console under Corporate Branding. This Help link is available to external users from the pull-down menu in the upper right-hand corner of the guest portal. This enhancement allows organizations to provide Help resources specific to the user type (internal or external).
Support for Microsoft "Specific People" Links in Share With Me
The Share With Me link feature now supports Microsoft’s “Specific people” link type when pre-populating a newly created Trusted Share. Share With Me previously only supported the link type “People in your organization with the link”. With this update, organizations can apply greater control over the pre-populated content of Trusted Shares created using the Share With Me link feature.
BUG FIXES
Bulk Download from Trusted Shares with ToU Enabled
We resolved an issue where users were unable to bulk download unlabeled files from Trusted Shares created via a label-mapped sharing policy with Terms of Use enabled.
Previously, even when the share owner disabled Terms of Use on the share, downloads would still fail due to policy enforcement. This fix ensures that:
Users can now bulk download files as expected, and
Disabling Terms of Use on the share will correctly override the restriction without requiring changes to the org-wide Sharing Policy.
