Choose the share and open Options

As the owner or co-owner of a Trusted Share, you can require recipients to accept Terms of Use (set by your organization) before accessing shared content.

Note: You can only make all the below changes If permitted by your organization’s policy.

To enable this option:

Navigate to My Shares and open your Trusted Share.
Click the Options button in the toolbar.

Enable Require terms of use

Under Applied Policy → Authentication , enable the Require Terms of Use feature.

This ensures that recipients accept the selected terms of use before they can access the shared content.

Configuring Terms of Use Settings

Once enabled, you’ll see additional options to configure when the Terms of Use are displayed and which Terms of Use to apply. These settings are defined by your organization.

Setting the Frequency for Displaying Terms of Use

Open the dropdown menu under on Trusted Share Access to select how often the Terms of Use should be displayed.

Never – The Terms of Use will not be displayed.
Only Once – Recipients will be prompted to accept the Terms of Use only the first time they access the Trusted Share. Once accepted, it will not appear again.
Once per Browser Session – Recipients must accept the Terms of Use each time they start a new browser session.

Selecting the Terms of Use for TS Access

Select the appropriate Terms of Use from the dropdown to apply to the Trusted Share.
These options are determined by your organization. For more information about the contents of each Terms of Use, contact your organization’s administrator.

Frequency of Terms of use for each file

You can also choose to apply a Terms of Use for each file within the Trusted Share.
Select the desired frequency for how often the Terms of Use should be displayed.

Selecting the Terms of Use for File Access

Select the appropriate Terms of Use from the dropdown to apply to individual file access.
You can choose to apply the same Terms of Use to both the Trusted Share and the files within it.

Choose Terms of Use for downloaded files

You have the option to download files from a Trusted Share and convert them into PDF format with the Terms of Use displayed on the first page. Check the option below.
This is useful if you want to share the files separately while ensuring the Terms of Use are acknowledged.

Zip downloaded files with Terms of Use

Select this option to download all files together in a single ZIP package, which includes a Terms of Use cover page at the beginning.
This feature is useful if you want to share all files as one combined download with a clear acknowledgement of the Terms of Use.

Click the 'Save' button.

Save all the changes made to the file access and download options.
