This document describes the enhancements and bug fixes included in the eShare Cloud Web Portal release 2026.06.0.0. The following sections will be reviewed:

Enhancement Requests

  1. Extending Shared Mailbox Support to Include Classic SharePoint Sites

When organizations define a SharePoint site for storing Shared Mailbox messages — configured on the 'Secure Mail' page of the 'Admin Console' — they now have the option of selecting a Classic SharePoint site. Previously, admins were limited to using a Modern/Teams site. This enhancement allows Secure Mail support for shared mailboxes regardless of the organization's SharePoint site architecture.

  2. Enable "Copy SWML" When Share With Me Link Is Enabled for Blob as a Cloud Provider

Within the Cloud Web Portal, users can now copy the Share With Me link when Blob storage is configured as a cloud provider and also enabled for the Share With Me feature. This streamlines sharing workflows by giving users a quick way to copy and distribute Share With Me links from within the Cloud Web Portal.

  3. Improved Readability of User Watermark

User watermark text is now rendered in a lighter color, improving document readability while maintaining visible deterrence against unauthorized sharing. This balance ensures that protected documents remain easy to read and work with while still providing clear document access attribution.

  4. Secure Collaboration Gateway Bypass

A bypass capability for the Secure Collaboration Gateway (SCG) is now available via a predefined x-header in sent messages. When the defined x-header — specified in SCG's MTA Properties file — is present in a message received by SCG, that message will be bypassed by SCG. This feature enables organizations to configure specific email flows that bypass secure message processing when appropriate, providing flexibility for trusted internal communication paths.

  5. Data Attributes Add-in for Microsoft Office: Dynamic Markings Based on User Group (e.g. Business Unit)

Document markings available to users of the add-in can now be dynamically determined based on a configured AD Group. This allows business units to have markings (e.g. Intellectual Property) that are specific to their line of business.

  6. Add a Help Link to the Data Attributes Add-in Interface

The Data Attributes Add-in for Microsoft Office user interface now includes a contextual 'Help' link that directs users to relevant documentation and guidance. This in-context support reduces onboarding time and support inquiries by providing immediate answers within the user's workflow.

  7. Login Experience Improvements
When users open a link to a trusted share, they will now encounter a new and improved login experience page. eSHARE will now display a page asking if the user is associated with the email address tied to the link, or if they are logging in as a different user.

  8. Power BI Report for the Data Attributes Add-in for Microsoft Office

A new Power BI report provides comprehensive visibility into data attributes and markings applied to documents using the add-in. Administrators and compliance teams can now monitor classification patterns, identify gaps, and measure adoption — supporting data governance programs with actionable insights.
