To View and Open documents on a Trusted Share

You can view, open, and edit Microsoft documents directly within the Trusted Share environment. Recipients do not need a Microsoft license to do this, providing a seamless and hassle-free experience.

To get started, select the appropriate Trusted Share from the list and open it to access its contents.

Open the document

Click on the document to open it.

Trusted Shares support editing for Word , Excel , and Presentation file formats.

Note: You can only open and edit files if the share creator has granted you the necessary permissions.

Click the 'Edit' button

Once the document is open, click the Edit button to enable editing mode, allowing you to make modifications to the document.

Note: The Edit button will only be visible if the share creator has granted you permission to edit the document.

Edit the file

Click on the file where you want to edit and make the necesssary changes

Close the auto saved file

After making your changes, close the file by clicking the X mark at the top right corner.

Note: All changes are automatically saved, so there is no need to manually save the file.

Download the file to local storage

You can download files from a Trusted Share by clicking the Action Menu button beside the file.

Note: You can only view and download files if the share creator has granted you the necessary permissions.

Click Download to save the file to your local storage.

Note: If the share creator has enabled Download with Approval , the creator must approve your download request. You will only be able to download the file once the creator grants approval.

In addition to downloading, you can perform other actions on files within a Trusted Share, including:

Copying the file
Renaming the file
Duplicating the file
Moving the file to a different location
Getting a shareable link for the file

These options allow you to manage and share files efficiently within the Trusted Share environment.
