NEW FEATURE

  • Access to Shares via SFTP Clients

Shares can now be enabled for access via an SFTP client using an org-specific hostname and a password or public SSH key that is managed by the recipient. Shares are created and managed as they are today. Once created, Manage Recipients can be used to Enable SFTP Access on a per-recipient basis. The recipient’s User Settings page provides access to the host name and the ability to set a password or provide a public SSH key for authentication to the share when accessed via an SFTP client.

SFTP access to a shares is a premium feature for which a license is needed. Please contact your Account Executive or Customer Success Manager to arrange for a demo, trial and/or purchase.

ENHANCEMENTS

  • Emoji Support in file names, share names & subject lines

The use of emojis in file names, share names, and subject lines is now supported. This enhancement allows for more expressive and personalized communication, making it easier to identify and categorize your shared content at a glance.

  • SharePoint Site Linking

Linking SharePoint sites through the eShare API using a wider range of attributes is now possible. You can now connect sites by Site Name, Site ID, URL, Group Email, Group ID, and Group Name. This enhancement provides greater flexibility and efficiency in managing and accessing your SharePoint resources.

BUG FIXES

  • An issue was identified and resolved where sending a secure email with an emoji in the email body resulted in the creation of a trusted share where "Content is missing" was mistakenly displayed in Secure Conversations.
