Create a Trusted Share from OneDrive External Link

Select the 'Employee Onboarding' folder.

You can also create a Trusted Share directly from a document by generating an external link for the file or folder and sharing it with your intended recipients. This allows you to share the link without entering the recipient’s email address. To do this, open OneDrive online and go to My Files. Click on the three dot menu beside File/Folder you want to share

Prerequisites
You can only share documents stored within your OneDrive using the eShare feature.
The installation of the eShare application should be completed by your organization administrator
You can only create Trusted Share from online site and not on local file explorer.
You can only share files that you own. You cannot create a trusted share for files that were shared with you or are owned by someone else.

2. Select 'External link' from the menu.

In the dropdown menu, click ' External link ' to generate a new link for the folder.

3. Copy the Access Link created

You will see an Access Link window with a link. Click the copy icon to copy the generated link to your clipboard. Share this with your desired recipients to access the file/folder. To further modify the share permissions to recipients, please refer to this article.
